Fluff & Tuff, known for its durable dog toys, announced its first social media contest giving customers and retailers a chance to name the new Sloth toy.
Historically, the Fluff & Tuff owners pick toy names after a family member’s or friend’s dog, something they started with the company’s first toy, Georgia Gator, who was named after their rescue Georgia.
The Sloth, available in April, is expected to be a fan favorite, and owners Ellen and Chris Lawson felt it was an opportunity to engage their loyal following in selecting the perfect name.
“Most of our retailers and their customers know our toys by their names (Hendrix Fox, Georgia Gator), so we thought this was a fun way to involve them in the release of what we think will be one our most popular toys to date,” Ellen Lawson said.
The contest will run across Fluff & Tuff’s Facebook and Instagram pages from until the 26th and will feature special guest Steve the Sloth who currently resides in Chicago and has given his seal of approval on the new F&T Sloth.
